Eduze Campsite is a greenfields project and the brainchild of Linda Buthelezi. Linda has always found it odd that the nearest campsite to the oldest reserve in South Africa is quite literally miles away. He had the idea of creating a campsite next to the reserve, approached his traditional leadership and secured land adjacent to the main entrance to iMfolozi Game Reserve… and Eduze Campsite was born! This business has so much potential, low overhead costs, high margins and a clear demand for camping in that area.
As a young boy Linda spent many hours in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve just watching the animals under the guidance of an old park ranger. But he also feels his people and community get very little benefit from the game reserve. He hopes the Unearthed Program can help him find a way to become a self-sufficient businessman and explore ways that he can make an impact and leave a legacy. “I want to start my own business so I can provide for my children and build a legacy for future generations”
Linda's Needs, can you help?
How would you like to have your own "Timeshare" campsite - just a few KM's from the iMfolozi Nyalazi Gate? We are looking for early investors who want to contribute to this project financially (for capital expenses setting up the campsite) - for an investment of R10 000 and you would get a week free camping every year for the rest of your life at Eduze. Partners will also be able to select their own ideal camping spot as "theirs" and invest directly into it.
