Linda is from a small community on the eastern side of the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve and sees the Unearthed Program as a chance to improve his skills and contribute to his community and tourism around his home.

As a young boy Linda spent many hours in the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve just  watching the animals under the guidance of an old park ranger. But he also feels his people and community get very little benefit from the game reserve. He hopes the Unearthed Program can help him find a way to become a self sufficient businessman and explore ways that he can make an impact and leave a legacy.

“I want to start my own business so I can provide for my children and build a legacy for future generations”

Linda has a piece of land just a few KM's from iMfolozi Nyalazi Gate. There are NO other campsites in the area and probably the only game reserve in the country without a camping area. The initial costs for capital set up are quite high, around R300 000 but can conservatively make that money back in just one year. A much-needed service that will have significant knock-on business opportunities for people in the community, from traditional dancing to local guides, this business is a flyer!

How would you like to have your own "Timeshare" campsite - just a few KM's from the iMfolozi Nyalazi Gate?

We are looking for early investors who want to contribute to this project financially (for capital expenses setting up the campsite) - for an investment of R10 000 and you would get a week free camping every year for the rest of your life at Eduze. Partners will also be able to select their own ideal camping spot as "theirs" and invest directly into it.

The project also needs a variety of partners to make it a reality, from fencing experts to plumbing, boreholes for water, building etc.... if you'd like to offer your support or skills in any of these areas, please give us a a shout
